Projekt 10/2024 Medan/Sumatra/Indonesia

The assignment took place in Medan / Sumatra / Indonesia on behalf of and under the supervision of SES Bonn (https://ses-bonn.de/home) at the request of the UIN. The assignment was pro bono. The flight costs were supported by the SES, accommodation and meals by the UIN Medan. I was invited by the Faculty of Science and Technology and was mainly introduced to the departments of Mathematics and Information Systems. The faculty has 5 departments, and I dealt almost exclusively with the two department heads and their departments.

The agreed tasks:

1.       Analysis of current state of education

2.       Implementation of courses in the field of the latest IT technology

3.       Development of IT curricula.

4.       Information about e-commerce

5.       Planning and implementation of workshops on teaching and learning strategies.
